Privacy Policy

We collect what we need to run your booking and keep you safe on the field, and nothing else. We do not sell your information.

What we collect

When you book or contact us

Your name, email address, and phone number
Party details: date and time, group size, package, occasion, and any notes you add
Anything you write in the contact form

When you sign a waiver

Participant name and date of birth
Email and phone, if given
For anyone under 18, the name of the parent or guardian signing and their relationship to the participant
The signature itself, the time it was signed, and the IP address and browser it came from

The date of birth is there because the field has a minimum age and because a waiver signed by a minor is not valid without a guardian. The IP address and browser are kept for the same reason a paper waiver is kept: if a waiver is ever disputed, that is the evidence it was actually signed.

When you visit the site

We use Vercel Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without storing anything that identifies you personally. There is no advertising tracker on this site, no Facebook pixel, and nothing that follows you to other websites. That is also why you are not being asked to dismiss a cookie banner.

Children’s information

A lot of our customers are children, and we take that seriously. Children do not create accounts here. A parent or guardian books the party and signs the waiver, and the only information we hold about a child is the name and date of birth on that waiver, plus their first name if it appears in the party name.

We do not knowingly collect information directly from a child under 13. If you believe your child has sent us information themselves, email parties@angelopaintball.com and we will delete it.

Why we hold it

To reserve your date, staff it, and have your gear ready
To send your booking confirmation, receipt, and waiver link
To prove a waiver was signed, which is a legal requirement for us to open
To answer you when you contact us
To send an occasional birthday reminder to a parent whose child has played here. Every one of those has an unsubscribe link, and one click stops them for good.

We never sell your information, and we never rent or trade it. We do not send marketing email to anyone who has only signed a waiver or only filled in the contact form.

Who else touches it

We use a small number of outside services to run the site. Each one only receives what it needs to do its job:

Supabase — the database where bookings and waivers are stored
Vercel — hosting and the cookie-free analytics described above
Resend — sends your confirmation, receipt, and reminder emails
FormSubmit — delivers contact-form messages to our inbox
Rackspace — hosts our Angelo Paintball email
Stride Events — our current online booking and waiver provider. When you follow a “Book Now” or waiver link, you leave this site and Stride’s own privacy policy applies to what you enter there.

We will also hand over information if the law requires it — a subpoena, a court order, or an insurance claim arising from an injury on the field.

Card payments

We do not store card numbers. Card payments are taken on a payment terminal at the counter, and the full card number never reaches this website or our database. What we keep is the amount, the date, and the last few digits printed on the receipt.

How long we keep it

Waivers — kept for as long as a claim could be brought. In Texas that is generally two years for an injury, and longer for a participant who was a minor when they signed, because their own time limit does not begin until they turn 18.
Bookings and receipts — kept while they are needed for accounting and tax records.
Contact messages — kept until they are dealt with, then cleared out periodically.

Your choices

Stop the emails. Use the unsubscribe link in any reminder, or just ask us.
See what we hold. Email us and we will tell you.
Correct it. Tell us what is wrong and we will fix it.
Have it deleted. We will delete what we are not legally required to keep. Signed waivers are the exception, for the reason above.

Texas does not currently give every resident a general right to demand deletion of their data, but we will honour these requests from anyone who asks, regardless of where they live.

Security

The site is served only over HTTPS. Staff accounts are individually named and password-protected, and the database enforces per-role access rules rather than trusting the app to behave. No system is perfect, and we will not pretend otherwise — but nobody sees your information who does not need it to do their job.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be called out on the page rather than slipped in quietly.
