Who these terms are with

Angelo Paintball, 8577 Knickerbocker Road, San Angelo, TX 76904. Booking a session, signing a waiver, or playing at the field means you accept these terms.

Booking and deposits

• A date is not held until the deposit is paid. Submitting a booking request starts the process; we will call you to take the deposit and confirm.
• Deposits are non-refundable. They cover the gear, paint, and staff we set aside for your group and turn away other bookings for.
• You can move your date. With at least 7 days’ notice we will move your deposit to another available date, once. Inside 7 days the deposit is forfeit.
• Final numbers. Prices are per person and the balance is due on the day. If your group turns up smaller than booked, the package minimum still applies.

Waivers

Everyone who plays signs a waiver, with no exceptions. Anyone under 18 needs a parent or legal guardian to sign for them. A guardian may sign for their own children in one go, but not for other people’s children . If you are bringing someone else’s child, their parent has to sign first.

A waiver lasts a year from the day it is signed. Sign ahead of time and check-in is much faster.

Age and safety

• Minimum age is 6. Younger players use our low-impact .50 calibre gear.
• Goggles stay on inside the netted area at all times. This is the one rule with no warnings attached. Taking a mask off in a live field gets you removed from the game.
• Follow the marshals. Their calls are final.
• No blind firing, no overshooting, no shooting anyone who has called themselves out, and no barrel tags to the head.
• Chronograph limits are set by us and are not negotiable. Bringing your own marker means having it chronographed before you play.
• Only paint bought here may be used on the field. Outside paint jams our rental gear and we cannot vouch for its quality.
• Anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed to play and will not be refunded.

Paintball involves running on uneven outdoor ground and being hit by paintballs travelling at speed. Bruises are normal. We can be removed from the field for breaking safety rules without a refund, and we will do exactly that if the alternative is somebody getting hurt.

Payment

• Prices are in US dollars and exclude Texas sales tax unless stated.
• The balance is due on the day, before play starts.
• We accept cash, debit cards, and credit cards.

Credit card processing fee

Our posted prices are cash prices. Paying by card adds a credit card processing fee of 2.29% + 9¢ at the counter, or 2.99% + 49¢ for deposits paid online. Every price on this site, on the price board and at the counter is what you pay in cash. Nothing is added unless you choose to pay by card.

The two rates differ because the two cost us different amounts to accept: a card handed over at the counter is cheaper to process than one typed into a website. We charge what we are charged, and no more.

The fee is calculated on the part of your ticket a card actually covers, so paying part in cash reduces it. It is added after tax, appears as its own line on your receipt, and the counter will tell you both prices before taking any payment.

Weather and cancellation by us

We play in the rain. We do not play in lightning, and we will not run a game in conditions we think are dangerous. If we cancel your session, you choose: move to another date, or take a full refund including the deposit. That is the one situation where the deposit comes back.

Damage and lost gear

Rental gear is checked out to you and checked back in. Ordinary wear is expected and costs you nothing. Gear that is lost, or broken through misuse, is charged at replacement cost.

Photographs

We sometimes photograph games for our own social media. Tell any staff member if you would rather not appear, or email us afterwards and we will take the picture down. We will not use a recognisable photograph of a child in paid advertising without asking a parent first.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our own negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, and to the separate waiver you sign, our liability for any claim arising from a session is limited to what you paid us for it.

We are not responsible for personal property left in the car park, the pavilion, or anywhere else on the site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and any dispute belongs in the state or federal courts of Tom Green County, Texas.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force for your booking is the one published on the day you booked, and the date at the top says when this page last changed.
